Privacy Policy
Start playingThis notice explains how Winzie collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit winzie-sverige.com. We take data protection seriously and handle everything in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who controls your data
The data controller for this site is the editorial team behind winzie-sverige.com. We are responsible for how your information is processed and for answering any questions you have about it. You can reach us at [email protected].
What information we collect
We gather two kinds of data: information you give us directly, and information your device shares automatically when you browse.
Information you provide includes anything you type into a contact form — your name, email address and the content of your message. We collect this only when you choose to send it.
Technical information comes from your browser and includes your IP address, the type of device you are using, your operating system, which pages you visit and how long you spend on each one. We collect this through cookies and similar tracking technologies — see our Cookie Policy for the full breakdown.
Why we process your data
We use the information above for three purposes. First, to respond to any questions or feedback you send through the contact form. Second, to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve navigation and content. Third, to detect technical problems and keep the platform secure.
Our lawful basis for processing contact-form data is legitimate interests — it is reasonable to expect that a message sent to us will receive a reply. For analytics and technical data, our basis is also legitimate interests: every site operator has a valid reason to understand how their platform performs and to protect it from misuse.
Who else sees your information
We share data with a small number of third parties who help run the site. This includes our hosting provider, who stores the server logs and contact-form submissions; our analytics service, which processes usage data to generate aggregated reports; and any advertising or affiliate networks we work with, who may place cookies to track referrals.
None of these parties may use your information for their own purposes, and we never sell data to anyone. Where a processor is based outside the UK, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place — either adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses approved by the ICO.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the following rights over your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure — request deletion of your data where we have no legal reason to keep it.
- Restriction — limit how we process your information while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format so you can move it elsewhere.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling for marketing.
- Withdraw consent — where processing relies on your consent (such as marketing emails), you may withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with your request and enough detail for us to identify your account or contact-form submission. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
How long we keep your data
Contact-form messages are retained for two years from the date you send them, after which they are deleted. Server logs and analytics data are kept for 12 months, then anonymised or removed. If you have an active correspondence with us, we keep your messages for as long as the conversation continues, plus two years.
Children and data protection
This site is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. If you believe we have received data from a minor, contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We review this notice regularly and update it when our practices change or when the law requires it. The current version was last revised on 19 February 2025. Any significant changes will be posted here, and where appropriate we will notify you by email if we hold your contact details.
If you have questions about how we handle your information, or if you want to exercise any of the rights above, reach us at [email protected]. We aim to reply within 48 hours on working days.
